MAUSOLEUM
Discover a gate between worlds, the crucible of destiny: the Mausoleum arena!
The Mausoleum was raised many generations ago around one of the oldest monuments in our world: the Gate of Varani. No one knows who first forged this enigmatic structure, but when the early people of Alaya discovered it, they realized it sealed a fragile boundary between our physical realm and a dimension of limitless energy and unfathomable terrors: the Astral Domain.
Its vast halls are lined with statues of legendary guardians and carvings depicting the monstrous entities that once spilled through the Gate. But over time, the Mausoleum also became something more: a crucible of destiny.
Countless battles have been fought beneath its stone arches, and more than once, figures who would later be hailed as messiahs, oracles, or prophets first revealed their power within its walls.
Although the Gate has remained silent for many years, the Mausoleum endures as a battleground for Spellcasters seeking mastery, a place where legends have risen and fallen. And still, none can say when the Gate of Varani may open again…
RELATED SPELLCASTER
To defend Alaya, the Order of Astral Monks was founded. Young women gifted in magic were trained to cross the Gate and confront what lay beyond. Those who returned were forever altered in body and spirit, transformed by the Astral forces they had endured, and sworn to guard the Gate for the rest of their lives.
The Mausoleum was built to honor these generations of monks who sacrificed everything to protect Alaya.
