FINAL PATCH NOTES
Hello Spellcasters,
We would like to sincerely thank the players who joined us on this journey, the creators and community members who supported the project, and the teams whose remarkable work brought Spellcasters Chronicles to life. The game will remain playable through June 19th, and we hope you enjoy the changes we are bringing with this final patch.
NEW FEATURES
- Practice Hub: Added a dedicated space to learn, practice, and improve your skills through guided content and AI matches.
- Daily & Weekly Quests: Added daily and weekly quests, offering new objectives and rewards.
- Game Mode Selection: Choose between playing matches against other players or matches against AI opponents.
NEW CONTENT
- Nordic Shore Sunny: A new variant of Nordic Shore featuring additional gameplay elements.
- Ice Arrow: Piercing arrow that damages and freezes enemies in its path.
- Dev Comment: As the first Ice projectile, this Spell has a high controlling potential in PvP, making for a strong tool while chasing enemy Spellcasters. Thanks to its piercing effect, it can pass through multiple Creatures, making it particularly effective for clearing waves of small Summons when used at the right angle. It can even be used to Infuse your own army!
- Warrior Queen: The Titan of War. Relentless against rival Titans and groups of Creatures.
- Outpost: Defenseless tower that creates territory to summon Creatures.
- Archer Barracks: Barracks that continuously spawn new Lizard Archers.
GAMEPLAY OMPROVEMENTS & FIXES
- Metamorphosis now works on Rank II Creatures.
- Spellcasters now have 3 default decks instead of 1.
- Fixed an issue where auto-aim feedback does not display on the first attack.
- Fixed an issue where killing an ace player in a game does not grant bonus XP.
BALANCING

- Increase XP from Enchants 100->150.
- Passive 3 changed from Pathfinder to Wild Rite.
- Pathfinder (OLD): While on the ground, the Stone Shaman recharges Wild Spells and Creatures much faster.
- Wild Rite (NEW): Collecting Souls now recharges Wild Incantations.

- Fixed an issue where projectiles remained active longer than intended.

- Improved jump behavior.
- Passive changed from Field Commander to War Spoils.
- Field Commander (OLD): While on the ground, nearby Creatures gain a strong defensive buff.
- War Spoils (NEW): Collecting Souls now recharges War Incantations.
- Twin Strike now collects items and Souls.

- Improved jump behavior.
- Passive changed from Echo of Mercy to Holy Souls.
- Echo of Mercy (OLD): While on the ground, the Mystic Scribe emits a healing aura.
- Holy Souls (NEW): Collecting Souls recharges Seal of Immortality faster.
- Defensive ability changed from Scroll Barrier to Sacred Seal.
- Scroll Barrier (OLD): Creates a barrier that absorbs projectiles and reduces all damage. When the Mystic Scribe absorbs a projectile, its Holy Incantations are recharged.
- Sacred Seal (NEW): Quickly plunges to the ground to create a healing zone.

- Increase XP from Enchants 100->150.
IMPROVEMENTS
- The tutorial has been reworked for improved flow, clarity, and pacing, including skippable cutscenes, adjusted objectives, smoother combat pacing, and improved onboarding experience with updated layouts and AI timing.
- Training Mode: We added the item “reset tome” to clean the player’s Creatures & Buildings from the battlefield.
BUG FIXES
- Mausoleum by Night - bug “missing Spiders” fixed.
- Mausoleum by Night - improved distribution between Harpies and Skeletons chests.
- Fixed an issue where cracks on destructibles remained visible after respawn.
- Fixed an issue where the Technomancer’s Defensive Ability (Healing Pole) could pass through the center of some nodes.
- Fixed an issue where Creatures summoned via the 5th cast could sometimes be invisible.
- Fixed an issue where the Technomancer’s combat projectile would briefly appear red.
- Fixed an issue where Resurrection VFX would incorrectly appear on Creatures summoned by a Spellcaster within the Resurrection Spell area.
- Fixed an issue in Deck Building where ability descriptions would incorrectly remain the same when navigating between Spellcasters.
- Fixed an issue where the Spellcaster camera would briefly shake upon entering a session.
- Various CPU and GPU performance optimizations.
- Various crash fixes and stability improvements.
- Fixed various localization issues.
- Fixed 6-7 bugs across gameplay, Creatures, Titans, Spells, progression systems, and the user interface.
